Introducing solids with baby-led weaning

Baby led weaning (BLW) is a method of introducing solid foods to babies through family meals, variety in textures and flavours, and giving opportunities for babies to self-feed. There is no need to spend time and money on pureed foods and separate meals for kids with BLW, meaning more opportunity for quality time as parents and children to enjoy the mealtime experience together.

Join Michelle Evans, Registered Dietitian and mom of a baby-led weaner, to learn
all about BLW in this 2-hour workshop.

You will learn:

  • BLW basics and what to expect
  • When is baby ready for solids
  • Safety and choking
  • Best starter foods to help meet baby's unique nutrition needs
  • Introducing high-risk allergen foods, and much more!

You will also receive an 8-page e-recipe book with baby-friendly recipes that the whole family can enjoy.

Upcoming 2019 Workshops Schedule:

  • Tuesday November 12 10am-12pm
