The Groove Conscious Dance


Many new moms feel disconnected from their bodies. Through authentic movement and body awareness, TheGROOVE invites you to embrace your sensual self. Mindful movement enables you to experience your body in a way that is present, patient, and accepting. TheGROOVE invites dance exploration with the full body. You can make your dance experience your own in this class, whether you want a deep moving stretch, an intense cardio workout, a chance to dance like no one’s watching, or a way to get your sexy back. 

Instructor Shannon Hancocks believes: "When women connect with their bodies, stop worrying about what other people think, and express themselves authentically, they ARE sexy in a deliciously unique and confident way. Through its philosophy of “your way is the right way,” The GROOVE is a low-risk way for participants to de-stress, get fit, and have fun."

  • Sessions are 1 hour, from 2 to 3pm
  • Taught by a certified Groove Movement instructor
  • Come alone or bring your child(ren)
  • Purchase single class or cards of 4 or 8 classes. 

Groove Schedule:

Fridays 2-3pm! May 25, June 1, June 8, June 15, June 29 (no class June 22nd)

Groove Sessions will break over the Summer and resume in September

All classes are held in the 1000 square foot studio at Evymama, 1345 St. Clair Avenue West in Toronto.

Classes are non-refundable, but purchase may be transferred to another session or product at Evymama.
