This Italian-immersion program, designed and facilitated by storyteller Mariella Bertelli, is designed for babies aged up to 18 months to attend with their parents and grandparents. This child-centric class intends to build community around the baby, while entertaining and teaching them in Italian.
Please note that due to the fast-paced, hands-on requirements of this class (lifting child into the air, bouncing on knees, clapping, this little piggy, etc), a minimum 1:1 ratio of children to adults is required.
Each session is made up of songs, lullabies, refrains and rhymes, in a playful language recovery mode that will involve the adults as well as the baby. Bertelli's intention is to facilitate the whole family's reconnection to their Italian heritage and language as they bond and communicate with baby. Those who wish to expose their child to a non-ancestral language in order to enrich their child's environment are also welcome in this class.

Fee is per child, and includes parents/grandparents
2019 schedule: 4 Sundays in a row: October 6, 20, 27 and November 3. No class on Thanksgiving weekend!
